GDPR and what we do with it
The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) came into effect on 25 May 2018.
Among other things, the GDPR replaces the Personal Data Protection Act. At Opmeer, the protection of personal data is part of our daily activities. We have the advantage that we have been ISO 27001 certified for several years and have extended this standard with the new requirements of the GDPR.
By delivering your address files by our secured https connection, the files are sent securely and with encryption. Simultaneously you agree on a one-off agreement with our “General Processing Agreement” which we need to process your delivered address files. If you deliver address files to us on a regular basis, we will create a separate “Processing Agreement” for you. Unfortunately, we are no longer allowed to receive address files by email, because this is too much risk.
